What comes with the trial?+
Everything. The 14-day trial unlocks every feature on every plan. No card required. You can invite staff, connect Stripe, and take real orders during the trial.
How does onboarding work?+
A 6-step wizard walks you through business info, storefront branding, first products, delivery/pickup, Stripe Connect, and inviting staff. Most bakeries finish in under an hour.
Can I import from WooCommerce?+
Yes. Orders, customers, subscriptions, and gift cards import via CSV or direct WooCommerce export. We built this because the founding bakery migrated off WooCommerce.
What payment processors do you support?+
Stripe only, via Stripe Connect Express. Your payouts land in your bank account. BakeKit takes no platform fee on transfers — you pay only Stripe's standard rates.
Do you send SMS notifications?+
Not yet. Notifications today are branded email + Web Push (works on iOS, Android, and desktop). SMS is on the roadmap.
Can I use my own domain?+
Yes, on every plan. Point your domain at BakeKit and we handle SSL and email deliverability from your address (SPF, DKIM, DMARC configured automatically).
What kind of label printers work?+
Any Web Bluetooth-compatible thermal printer. The label designer supports rotate, scale-to-fit, per-variation prices, QR codes, and auto-sorted ingredient lists.
Can I offer subscriptions?+
Yes — Pro and Scale plans include weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly subscriptions on any product. Customers self-serve pause/resume/skip; admins can override anything.
What about catering?+
Scale includes a catering package builder with photos, custom quotes, and Stripe embedded checkout. Great for corporate orders and events.
Is there a mobile app?+
Yes — a native iOS/Android shell (Capacitor) with haptics, push notifications, and native navigation. Ship it under your own bakery name.
What if I need help?+
All plans get email support. Scale includes priority support and a dedicated onboarding call.
What if I want to leave?+
Cancel any time from the billing page. You can export all your data — orders, customers, subscriptions, recipes — as CSV.
